Join Jack Stein on his first international food odyssey as he explores the true meaning of a culinary exchange. Britain has some of the world’s most historical and wonderful dishes, but Jack knows they haven’t changed much in centuries. So Jack decides to delve into the history of 10 of Britain’s most famous dishes, cooking his version of them at home in Cornwall, before taking them to 10 different cities around the world where they’re not so famous. In each city Jack immerses himself in cultural and food experiences, and with the help of a local chef, is challenged to make a new version of the dish that will speak to each city, all from inside his own box kitchen that follows him around the world. While some dishes will be loved, others will most certainly be judged. But Jack and his box, are going to hit the road, seas and skies to find out.
