HBO is going back in time for an upcoming, currently untitled drama series following the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties. The series is based on Jeff Pearlman’s book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers of the 1980s. Adam McKay (Succession, Q: Into the Storm) is executive-producing, as well as directing the pilot episode. Adrien Brody (as Pat Riley), John C. Reilly (as Jerry Buss), Jason Segel (as Paul Westhead), Sally Field (as Jessie Buss), Jason Clarke (as Jerry West), Quincy Isaiah (as Magic Johnson), and Solomon Hughes (as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) are among the cast.

By activating the Mature Content Lock, you can prevent your children and other minors from watching Mature Content through your Now TV App account. The Mature Content Lock will require the viewer to verify his/her Now TV subscriber identity by keying in his/her Now ID password for verification each time a request is made to view Mature Content on Now TV App.

If you disable the Mature Content Lock, any person will be able to watch the Mature Content anytime through your Now TV App account without having to key in your Now ID password. You are therefore advised to activate the Mature Content Lock and keep it enabled at all times, to prevent minors from accessing the Mature Content. Please change your Now ID password regularly and keep your login details and Now ID password secure and do not disclose them to anyone.
