An armed couple breaks in the venue of the world-renowned jewelry designer Yamamoto's exhibition in Tokyo and takes away the most valuable pieces on display. The robbery ends in bloodshed. Inspector Fujioka's assistant is shot to death at the crime scene. The couple takes the jewelry to Hong Kong and Fujioka follows their trail.
