Hong Kong pop star Eric Suen returns to music in 2010 after recovering from a recent nasal operation and complications with his vocal cord. During his downtime, he took up songwriting again and has come up with his first Cantonese album that is entirely self-written. Titled Man in the Mirror, Eric's new album is a reflection of the spiritual world of the popular singer, as he composed the music and wrote the lyrics to all 11 songs. In the first plug "Walled Hometown", Eric laments the estranged relations between people of the modern world, whereas the second plug "If Life Still Has a Song", reportedly inspired by a schoolgirl who killed herself, encourages listeners to find hope in times of adversity.
