Ren McCormack moves from a big city, Boston, to a small town in the Deep South where life is drastically different. After an accident which killed five teenagers, the town’s community was greatly shocked, resulting in the prohibition of loud music and dancing by Reverend Shaw Moore and the local authorities. Ren decides to challenge the ban, and in the process, falls in love with the Reverend’s daughter.
