New Year's Eve

Set during New Year's Eve in New York city, this movie follows several people and how the day affects them. There is Kim, a single mother who is concerned about her daughter, Hailey; Claire, who has to get a previously-fired electrician to come back to help in the ball drop on Times Square; Laura, a chef who runs into her ex-boyfriend, Jensen, at the party she’s catering for; Ingrid, a woman who decides to quit her job and get a messenger-boy, Paul, to help her fulfill her resolutions; Stan, a dying man who wishes to see the ball-drop for the final time; Griffin and Tess, a couple hoping to be the couple with the first baby born on New Year’s Day; Randy, a man who gets trapped in an elevator with a back-up singer; and Sam, the son of the owner of a record company, who finds a good enough reason to get out of a company dinner.
