Brand Founder and Creative Director Karen Chan grew up in To Kwa Wan, and this year she drew inspiration from the neighborhood’s vibrant culture, urban landscapes and everyday encounters to craft her “Nostalgic Hong Kong” Collection of original modern cheongsams and kung-fu jackets that are avant-garde with a touch of old Hong-Kong nostalgia. Bold, playful and funky, this collection was inspired by iconic old-school toys and sweet treats found in nostalgic HK neighborhood stores and street scene items like old store-gates, taking Hongkongers who grew up in the 1950’s to 1990’s on a walk down memory lane.
