Willful Ms. Kitty Liang is an honors university student, majoring in law. She has a bright future spelt out for her. One cool evening, walking back from the cafeteria to her dorm, she notices something extraordinary as she passes by the famous Chrysanthemum Lake. The lake, which was still rippling with calm earlier that morning, has all but disappeared. Every single drop of water has evaporated! Instead, Wu, a short, fat, and ugly guy, someone Kitty wouldn't have noticed in a million years-- is standing in the middle of the pile of mud (what remains of the lake), looking at her with a beaming smile. Terrified, Kitty dashes back to her dorm, but stranger things await. The next day, when she tells her roommate Miyuki, she realizes that she may have become a part of the school's urban legend…
